Stunning beach side resort that feels like South Beach FL. Great views and beachside dining. Ample indoor and outdoor seating and several handicapped parking spots and ramp for entry. Our food wasn’t HOT when it came out. Flavors were good. Drinks were nice. Service was attentive.

Besides the atmosphere this place was a huge disappointment. The place is beautiful but the wait staff and food ruined it. One bartender was extremely rude and seemed like she couldn’t be bothered to take my parties order. After being seated we waited approximately 15 minutes before we requested a server. The appetizers were decent (calamari was pretty good) but that’s where the one star comes from. The bus service was terrible, empty plates and glasses sat on the table practically the entire meal. I wouldn’t say we had a late reservation but it was definitely way too early for them to be out of a bunch of dishes. Mahi was sub par and over cooked, the menu stated mango de gallo, more like pico from the street tacos. Lobster ravioli will leave you more hAngry than when you arrived and the filet was nothing to write home about. At least the drinks were cold. Over all 0/10 would not recommend.

This hidden gem has the aesthetic of an upscale beach resort while still feeling laid back and welcoming. The downstairs dining area had a bright and clean ambiance, and all the staff were very friendly. Our waitress and hostess were attentive and service was prompt. My only complaint would be that the food was a little lackluster. Our appetizers were delicious, but my friend and I ordered two totally different entrees and we both felt that they were cooked well but could have used more seasoning. However, the drinks were great and we enjoyed walking around on the beach after our meal with some great views of the sunset! The restaurant was very crowded when we first got there around 6:30, so on a weekend it might be a good idea to make a reservation.

Had an incredible experience, dining at Drift in Hideaway Bay! Went Sunday evening with my parents and my three kids. The restaurant is beautiful, inside and out. The location, beach and view ?? We ate on the patio and were taken care of by friendly staff; we were absolutely blown away by the food, everything was exceptional. Ordered coconut shrimp for appetizers and now my kids have a new food they like! Everyone was completely satisfied. I recommend the carbonara, but every meal was enjoyed. The kids ate every bite of their bacon burgers. My dad said the mahi was really good as well. I look forward to visiting again!

My wife and I stopped there today for the first time. It was a beautiful day, and although it was quite windy, we sat at the beach bar. We had a couple of drinks and just hung out and enjoyed the beach views, which were very pleasant and relaxing. We ordered the nachos and some skewered shrimp. They were both excellent. The bartender (Cassidy) made us feel very welcome, and seemed to take a personal interest in making sure we enjoyed our visit. All in all, this place exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return soon to try out the restaurant itself.

Went here for a banquet. I got the steak; best I’ve ever had! Absolutely amazing food, service, atmosphere, and lake view!! Staff were friendly, accommodating, and patient. Mixed drinks and choices of beer on tap were also delicious! 100% recommend! Note: there is a “dead end” sign right in front of the bridge before you see the restaurant. Ignore it since it’s the parking lot to this amazing restaurant/resort!

If you are looking for a place to get away and just hang out, and actually enjoy the food you found it! My friend and I drove about 30 min outside of Buffalo to celebrate her birthday. We were instantly greeted by Brooke and Cass who had such bright energy! We sat upstairs with a beautiful view of the lake and the sunset it was unbelievable. Our server Sammie was super sweet and made us feel at home! My friend had the bacon burger that was cooked perfectly and the most delicious truffle fries, I had the creamy pesto gnocchi with grilled chicken and it was amazing! 10/10 would recommend to really any age group! My friend and I are younger so some restaurants don't have a vibe that we need but this met all of the expectations! We hope to be back soon!

Everything about this dinner experience was exceptional! Alexis was our server and she was amazing!! The views are stunning and the food is fantastic!!! I recommend the Key Lime Crème Brûlée for dessert!

We absolutely loved our 1st visit to the Drift at Hideaway Bay! We were looking to have dinner overlooking the lake & this place was the perfect choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We love the menu choices and our dinners & drinks were delicious! We also got to relax and enjoy the beach for a bit after dinner. This place really has that Caribbean kind of vibe. Great job Drift! Will be back maybe even to stay at one of the cabanas next time!
