Allegany Mountain Resort offers a nostalgic and relaxing experience, particularly appealing to families and those seeking outdoor activities. Guests consistently praise the resort's beauty, amenities, and friendly staff, though some note limited Wi-Fi and campground density. It's a place where visitors have enjoyed returning for decades.
Went with my grandkids.Stood in a cabin with a loft a week .They didnt want to leave. Will be returning before the end of summer, to camp out in tents. Beautiful place, people very polite andfriendly. We love it
They have two nice outdoor swimming pools (no lifeguard was on duty, so swim with a buddy, don't ever swim alone). There is mini golf, basketball, tennis courts, canoeing. Nice, but you do need to be a member in order to enter. The location is perfectly out of the way. A few bodies of water in the middle of the wilderness.
We have been going there for over a decade and it never disappoints. The Cafe has good food, the lodging is more than good. If I have one negative it would be the non existent wi fi but they are working on it. Quiet and relaxing. Will be there again next year.
Beautiful resort, would like to see the campgrounds a little more spaced apart. Some of them are very close to one another.
This place has been around for years and a friend of ours has a full trailer there. We went to visit them for a weekend and we're delightfully surprised. So many amenities, beautiful lakes, wonderful time!
