Lake Erie State Park offers stunning views of Lake Erie and boasts well-maintained facilities, including picnic tables, volleyball nets, and disc golf. Guests praise the park's beauty and helpful staff, particularly ranger Tom, but note a lack of lifeguard supervision and limited seating areas. It's a popular spot for families and offers convenient access to local amenities.
This was a beautiful park on Lake Erie. We'll taken care of and plenty of picnic tables. There was a volleyball net and disc golf. You can swim at your own risk because there are no lifeguards.
Lots of families on vacation but the walk to Lake Erie is less than 5 minutes and the views are beautiful. The nearby food options are very good and the people are very nice to newcomers. Pretty decent facilities for a state park. Good on ya NY from a PA visitor.
Beautiful park, well maintained. Very quite. Have a beach area, but no life guard and swim at own risk. Sunsets amazing
It is a beautiful park with great views. However, they could make it people friendly by creating some sitting areas or path. Facilities were closed last time and this visit. Both times it was late April. You have to walk in soggy grass to get to be near the lake
This campground is FANTASTIC! When you think State Park there is almost always a compromise, but not here. We stayed on site A23 for a week in mid-July. The campground was busy, but not over-crowded. The campground itself is well maintained and the shower houses are clean. There are tent and RV sites available, with 15/30/50 amp electric service. The water hookups are NOT at each site, but there is one CLOSE to each site, so you can run your house over, fill your tank, and disconnect. The playgrounds and picnic shelters (multiple of each) are in great condition and the views are EPIC! The staff working the office were kind and helpful, and the park ranger Tom stopped by to ask how our visit was. The campground is a GREAT jumping off point for the local area and all the conveniences you could need are within 15 minutes. We will be back again!
