Just keeping it real folks, this hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel. I don’t know how they are rated, but I’ve been in other 4 star hotels and this not even close. Parking IS an issue. There is a parking lot adjacent to the hotel but the elevator is inoperable. That tunnel walk from the parking lot to the hotel is so disgusting, wet rubber mats and puddles galore. The room decor is dated and my first room smelled like cigarettes even though the hotel is a smoke free hotel. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating but this is NOT a 4 star hotel. The vibe from the hotel and the people walking the streets in the neighborhood are so seedy, thankfully I only had to stay one night. The in house restaurant-no thank you. Just go elsewhere.

First time visiting Jamestown and the Doubletree was the perfect choice. Upon arriving we were greeted warmly, and of course had to take the complimentary delicious chocolates chip cookies. Had no trouble parking and appreciated that there was no charge. We were very pleased with our room. It was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. LOVED the location. We were walking distance to the Lucy Museum and the Comedy Museum, in addition to the many restaurants, bars, and shops in the area. We felt very safe walking around the area even in the evening. We loved sitting outside at night on the Adirondack chairs…a great way to end a perfect weekend. We interacted with Alex quite a bit who was at the desk. He was so friendly and polite. He kindly answered any questions we had, greeted us each time we came back to the hotel, and was happy to offer suggestions. If you are traveling to Jamestown, I would definitely recommend staying at The Double Tree!

No closet for my clothes that need to be hung. No iron, employee said they are too much trouble, no microwave in room, 90% of hotels have these, just my luck I found the unattractive 10%. These items make "travel" a hardship. But they are simple things in this day and age. I think they gave up on the guests. But....rooms are clean, staff was great, even when giving the news of the hotels lack of effort to cater to guests

Check-in and complimentary parking was good. We got offered warm cookies which was nice. Room was spacious and clean, although not to Hilton standards that I'm used to. Beds/pillows, super comfy. The flush nearly took me out! Reminds me of airplane toilets. Walls are thin. Could nearly, clearly hear conversations in the lobby outside the door. We were given a room with adjoing doors. Can't confirm if that was the issue, but next door's TV could be heard through, till the wee hours of the morning, plus someones constant snoozing alarm (they did not want to get up.. Haha). Location is really good. Close to hwy and lots of walkable restaurants.

Located in the heart of Jamestown, NY this hotel has everything you could need either in it, or directly nearby. There is a bar/restaurant with great drinks and food. Bartenders are always amazing, small fitness center within, enough to get something done if you truly know what you're doing. Pool is decently sized, enough room for parents to sit and kids to play comfortably. The hotel itself is very secure, using room keys for access to the interior including the fitness center, and pool after a certain time, and a key also needed to access any floors with the elevator where the guests rooms begin (3 through 8). Rooms are very clean and well updated. QR codes for numerous options and welcome guide for the area. Front desk staff and housekeeping was extremely professional and polite to all guests during their interactions. Breath of fresh air, and they do not cater to rooming those who have no where to go as many are now doing for government funding but bringing issues of cleanliness and the wrong activities to their front doors. This will definitely be my first choice when returning to Jamestown.
